Gorgosaurus Coloring Page FAQs
Where Were Gorgosaurus Fossils Found?
Gorgosaurus fossils have been uncovered mainly in the Dinosaur Park Formation in Alberta, Canada, with some finds in the Two Medicine and Judith River Formations in Montana, USA. These discoveries have helped us piece together the life of this predator.
Gorgosaurus vs. Albertosaurus: Who Would Win?
Since Gorgosaurus lived about five million years earlier than Albertosaurus, they never crossed paths. Both were similar in size (8-9 meters long), with Gorgosaurus possibly faster due to longer legs and Albertosaurus slightly bulkier (up to 3 tons). A hypothetical fight would be too close to call!
